Pet Wants is a pet health and wellness brand founded in 2010 by pet parents who desired a nutritionally based answer for their pet’s health issues. Pet Wants dog food, made exclusively for us every 6-8 weeks, is the foundation of every Pet Wants business. Franchise owners and their employees passionately educate their local communities on the benefits of health and wellness based in science and nutrition. Franchisees launch with our Phase 1 mobile/delivery business. This allows the new franchisee to connect with their community through farmer’s markets and other community events, establish their online presence, and create community connections that will last long after the retail location is open. This unique two-phase approach also earns revenue and creates a loyal customer following for the location, leading to a stronger launch of the brick-and-mortar later in the first year. By the end of year 1, a small footprint retail location is open. This includes a wider variety of retail products as well as our boutique grooming salon, leading to higher foot traffic and high cross selling opportunities. Hosting in-store events brings a sense of community to the retail hub. This business has multiple revenue streams, including in-store, at event, online and grooming services. Many customers shop within multiple streams, providing opportunities to maximize lifetime value of each customer.
