Additionally, the corporate team has established a national awards program to recognize exceptional caregivers. Each quarter, franchise owners have the opportunity to nominate caregivers in their organization who exceed expectations and provide next-level care for their clients. The winner receives a $1,000 cash prize and is recognized on a national level. The corporate team has also established a scholarship program for nominated caregivers to receive funding towards obtaining their CNA license. This licensure is often a next step in many caregivers’ careers and allows them to pursue their goals. Why was this established? These initiatives were designed to combat the current hiring climate and separate ameriCARE from the competition in local markets. Studies have shown that caregivers often feel underrecognized and underappreciated by their employers.
